Definitely the best thing I did last year was attending the amazing workshop hosted by Lisa from the Norwegian Wedding Blog. I had never been to Norway before and was more than curious to experience this beautiful country and its lovely people. It was a great experience. Lisa and her team did a fabulous job. The workshop was in Kongsvinger, about 1,5 hours from Oslo. She picked Kongsvinger Festning (Fortress) as the location for the 3-day workshop. The fortress is situated on a hill giving a stunning view on the town and forests surrounding Kongsvinger. The fortress had been recently renovated and some buildings were converted into a small hotel and conference rooms. The cuisine was excellent.
2 Brides Photography and Siegrid Cain Photography are not only amazing photographers but also great mentors. It was amazing to see their passion for photography. They shared many interesting tips and are fun people to be with. It was also a pleasure to meet Albert from Carmencita Film Lab for the first time. Their film development and scanning service as well as their warm personality is the best there is.
But most importantly, I am so happy that I met so many talented photographers. It was great to see how other photographers work and try to capture that amazing frame or light. I cannot describe how good the vibe was. No matter if the person was British, Danish, Norwegian, German, Dutch, Swedish, Polish, Spanish, or Austrian (…yes, it was quite an international bunch of people), we all have the same passion, photography.
Thank you to everyone to make this happen!
