I’m a photographer, art lover, chemist, and traveller. My wanderlust has brought me all over Europe, the United States, and Canada. I live in the Netherlands just steps away from the German and Belgium border, which has offered me the opportunity to visit and photograph in other European countries, such as the United Kingdom, Norway, Italy, and Portugal. I grew up in the Netherlands, and my university studies took me to Germany and my post-doctoral to Canada. My first interest in photography began in high school, which led me to my first camera purchase, photography classes, and working in the dark room, and I continued learning more about photography at Langara College in Vancouver, Canada. I photograph in a relaxed and informal style focussing on telling stories with an eye for detail. I love photographing people, capturing emotions and telling stories using natural light and on photographic film such as Kodak, Fuji, or Ilford.
