Just before the summer started my friends and I went to Boltenhagen for a long weekend. Boltenhagen is part of the German Riviera, in the north of Germany. It was a blast! Beautiful beaches and views. Fresh air. Delicious cake. Building sand castles. Steeps cliffs. Two deer that greeted us. Good memories.

Overjoyed that The Wedding Blog published the images I recently took of the bridal collection of Véronique Billiet. The photos were taken at Landgoed Altembrouck, a real gem in the ‘Voer’ region in Belgium.

Recently, I had the pleasure to shoot the beautiful bridal collection of Véronique Billiet. We shot the collection at the truly idyllic estate Landgoed Hotel Altembrouck. It lies disguised between the woods and beautiful hilly country of the Belgium ‘Voer’ region. Landgoed Hotel Altembrouck in Belgium is situated just south of Maastricht, the Netherlands, and only 20 km from Aachen, Germany. Because of this close proximity to the borders, you can imagine that a mix of different nationalities and languages gave this collaboration an extra flair!
The day started with beautiful sunshine but rain was predicted for the afternoon. Everyone worked hard to make sure we had some great images before the rain started pouring at 3pm. Many thanks to Virginie (make up), Alex (hair), Cécile and Barbara (the models) for making this an unforgettable day! Véronique, the detail of your dresses are spectacular. Every dress of your bridal collection was a joy to photograph. Special thanks to Barbara for all your help and to Josje from Landgoed Hotel Altembrouck for your enthusiastic support. Merci beaucoup à tous!
